Yoga classes taught by Brigitte Kortright, a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Brigitte has been teaching yoga to students in both Toronto and Belleville for 20 years.

 

Pranayam Yoga Centre

Kripalu yoga is a meditation in motion which exercises both the mind and the body. Sessions include centering, warmups, breathing, formal yoga postures (asanas), meditation, relaxation, and spontaneous posture flow.

All classes are designed to nurture our whole being. Hatha yoga postures and pranayama exercises keep the body supple, strong and resilient. Witness consciousness allows us to observe the habits of our mind and calm our thoughts. The relaxed surrender into the moment allows healing energy to flow where it is needed most.

Classes are:
Wednesdays: 1:30- 3:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and
6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

NOTE: There will be no classes Wednesday October 5, 2011

Drop in class $12. Attendance both days, $10 per class.

The classes operate on a drop in basis, so you can start anytime.
If you new to yoga, please phone ahead and come 15 minutes early so there's enough time to go over the basics before the class starts.
